Originating from the 1300-year history of Tango silk weaving,
this silk textile is characterized by its varied use of colors and special materials.
It involves hand-dyed kasuri and is woven with 4mm-wide silk ribbon tape in both the warp and weft directions.
The ability to produce the ribbon tape in-house, along with most of the production process being mechanized,
makes this a rare example of a fashion textile where the beauty of handcraftsmanship is still palpable.
Due to the special tape-like material used to weave the fabric in this product,
it is susceptible to snagging and pulling when it comes into contact with small protrusions or rough surfaces.
Please exercise caution when wearing it. Threads dyed with hand kasuri may experience color fading or transfer due to moisture, sweat, or friction.
Please avoid pairing this item with light colors, and be mindful of color transferring onto bags, accessories, furniture, or any other surfaces.
Dry cleaning may result in color fading.
