It will be directed by ARLNATA, a brand that creates collections using luxury Tsumugi,
lead by former HERMÈS designer Shunsuke Teranishi.

MIZEN will also be presenting a new collection for this project.
These pieces are tailored using a MIZEN signature design called

COLLECTION

JST01

V-NECK LAYERD TOP / WOMEN

A garment with a pattern cut from a single piece from front to back,
using the full width of approximately 38 cm of kimono fabric.
It features an asymmetrical V-neck layered top and a black and
navy two-tone cotton straw yarn lace on the right side of the layered section,
an original MIZEN creation.

JLWP

LAYERD WIDE PANTS/ WOMEN

These wide pants feature a unique design where the kimono fabric in the front
flows from the crotch to the back and then back to the front.
They feature layers that wrap twice around the legs and a thick waist belt with a double buckle design.
The voluminous fabric creates a hakama-like silhouette that swings dramatically with every step,
adding a mannish touch to the design. The outer belt is adorned
with our original lace tape for an additional elegant detail.

JCP01

A design in which a single piece of kimono runs from the right front to the back,
creating a feminine silhouette when combined with knitwear.
Its arched shape and lack of sleeves offer a high degree of wearability.
The sporty front zipper allows for both casual and elegant styling.

JSK03
KIMONO KNIT ASYMMETRIC PLEATED SKIRT

This feminine skirt is characterized by an asymmetric silhouette created
by pleated right body and naturally occurring folds on the left, a blend of kimono and knit fabrics.
Designed to move with the wearer, its different weighted parts sway gracefully,
creating a full, voluminous effect that exudes femininity.

MIZEN BLUE ~SHO~

ISHIGE YUKI TSUMUGI

Ishige Yuki-Tsumugi is another form of Yuki-Tsumugi, a traditional Japanese fabric with a history of over 1000 years,
which originated 60 years ago. Along the Kinu River in Shimousa Province,
there has been a long history of sericulture and weaving.
Yuki-Tsumugi is renowned for its exceptional comfort provided by the floss silk it's made from,
a feature that originates here. In contrast to the traditional and
strictly disciplined manufacturing of authentic Yuki-Tsumugi,
Ishige Yuki-Tsumugi was created with the aim to make the comfort of floss silk more accessible,
combining various techniques to form a new type of Yuki-Tsumugi.

A Project to Interpret the Unseen
