USHIKUBI TSUMUGI×ARLNATA SPECIAL COLLECTION5 in ISETAN 2023
SPECIAL COLLECTION 5 in ISETAN 2023
This collaboration event between ARLNATA and Ushikubi-tsumugi,
where you can choose your favorite kimono fabric and design to have a unique piece just for you,
is now being held for the fifth time.
ARLNATA has been in charge of the design direction for MIZEN since its opening in Aoyama in December 2022.
At this event, you can also explore our special line, which allows you to order the design tailored from a unique selection of fabrics from across Japan,
without the need to purchase an entire roll of kimono textile (12M/roll).
During the exhibition period, we will showcase and sell new pieces created specifically for this event at the ISETAN department store,
along with a selection of items will be available at the MIZEN Aoyama store.
COLLECTION
SINGLE LAYER COAT / MEN
MEN’S SIZE:3(M),4(L),5(XL)
WOMEN’S SIZE:1(S),2(M)
This ambitious model combines seemingly contradictory elements:
the structure of a jacket, the lightness of a shirt, and the enveloping nature of a coat,
all in one garment.
The garment features no facings overall, maintaining a thin and flexible structure.
Plush core is hand-stitched only in areas necessary for structural integrity.
The coat is distinguished by an original metal plate inserted in the front opening
and a uniquely designed buckle that crosses diagonally. An opulent "Raden-ori",
mother-of-pearl version is also available as an option.
LONG COAT DOUBLE / MEN WOMEN
A double layered belted trench style coat with a back.
Featuring large 30mm buttons in a double-breasted style and double-layered cuffs,
it's designed for ample pocket space and can be worn over a jacket.
An "Raden-ori", mother-of-pearl weave upgrade for the collar and cuffs is available as an option.
